VIENNA - Black and White Saucer Hat

I blocked this one in a super spotty sinamay in my favorite large saucer shape that looks so beautiful on.

Along with a large trimmed bow its adorned with gorgeous white and cream silk poppies/anemones and silk organza complimentary flowers. I made the silk flowers using a traditional French technique - the silk is stiffened and then each petal cut out and heated with little irons to make the shapes. I used cute spotty handmade glass beads for their centers.

This one is on a wide black fabric covered headband (or traditional hair elastic if you prefer). The saucer shape measures 12 1/2" across.

It one can be customized a little by changing the flower color etc. ( I also have this same sinamay spot print in a cream base with aqua spots).
